great amenities but lackluster shower pressure
The common room was delightful for relaxation after a long day, offering a cozy atmosphere. I appreciated the breakfast options, particularly the cooked-to-order omelets and eggs that were a nice touch. The room was comfortable and spacious, making it easy to unwind during our stay.
The shower water pressure could be improved, which was a disappointment.

A spacious King Room provided a peaceful retreat, complete with beautiful decor and a cozy ambiance from the fireplaces. The multiple hangout areas were great for family time, and the outdoor fire pit was a highlight. Delicious breakfast options set us up perfectly for our days of exploration near restaurants and shopping. However, the room's TV was a bit basic, and although the staff was generally helpful, a few requests for extra amenities took longer than expected.

Beautiful hotel, clean room, with a wonderful omelette station for breakfast that made our stay delightful, and we also enjoyed the cozy outdoor fire pit area with the best chocolate chip cookies ever, adding to the charm and warmth of our visit.

Charming Room with a Cozy Atmosphere
My partner and I had a delightful stay in the King Contessa Room, which was beautifully decorated and offered a warm ambiance. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring made-to-order omelets and fresh pastries that exceeded our expectations. The relaxing areas, especially the fire pit outside, made for a picturesque evening hangout. One minor issue was the shower water pressure, which could be improved.

The Inn provided a homely atmosphere with beautiful decor and very clean spaces. I loved the outdoor fire pits and the lovely yard where we spent time playing lawn games. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight with made-to-order omelettes and a good variety of baked goods. I enjoyed the fresh, local ingredients in the meals. However, I noticed that the carpet in the common areas needed a deep clean. The bathroom in my room could have used some remodeling too, especially the shower that didn't have great water pressure. Although the staff was friendly, a few seemed a bit inexperienced at the front desk. Overall, small details like dirty windows and the dining room feeling like a fast-food chain during breakfast need addressing to elevate the experience.

We stayed in a beautiful queen room with two comfy queen beds. The library and fire pit were awesome for family hangouts. Plus, the 24/7 snack station was a hit with the kids! I organized a surprise for my sister, and the manager helped me set up flowers and a note, which made her day.

Had an awesome time with friends! We visited Hawk Ridge Winery for live music and then rented some gear from Connecticut Watersports for a fun day on the water. The rooms were clean and neat. They also had great snacks and breakfast options available all day. Definitely a fantastic spot to unwind!
The only downside was the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but it wasn’t a huge issue.

We had an amazing time enjoying the outdoor cozy fire pit and the breathtaking scenery around the inn. The kids loved exploring the lawn games, while we took a peaceful stroll to Bantam Lake for kayak rentals. The stay was perfect for our family getaway!
My kids wished there were more activities planned for families.

Solid selection for a quick stopover in Litchfield with exceptional value. Staff was friendly, and breakfast was decent. Just keep an eye on the dining area, as it can get busy at peak times.
